Gino and Juli Scala founded Great Full Gardens in 2010 in Reno, NV, with the mission to offer healthy, wholesome meals and providing an exceptional work experience for their teams. The couple began their business making GinoTheSoupMan soups in their home to later make them at their café at UNR. The couple's entrepreneurial spirit, along with the energy created with their friends Cyndi, Kim, Sean, & Anne created the environment to build the first full-service restaurant in Reno's Midtown District in 2013. This laid the foundation for expansion while the company thrived on community impact and conscious business practices. Today, Great Full Gardens continues to serve love & good vibes with a diverse menu, focusing on local vendors and environmental sustainability.
Love finding this place on Maps. Warm and engaging staff that are very attentive to customers. I love that they grow their own veggies. Nothing here appears to be ultra-processed except for maybe the sodas. You can taste the difference in their food, it feels authentic.
Found this great little place in Midtown Reno. Stopped in for a late lunch. We were not disappointed. Amazing food! Great service, and the atmosphere was great too! Lots of options for healthy eating. Another good one to add to your list when in Reno. Dietary restrictions: Plenty of Vegan, Vegetarian, and Gluten Free options.
A little eclectic new age diner kind of feel with really yummy food and tons of great vegan and gluten free options. Their menu is huge, and clearly labelled for a variety of dietary restrictions. Service was fast and great, some really friendly people working here. The chips and dip were such a good choice for appetiser and I just really enjoyed the fresh food overall. Not a huge fan of tempeh but it was really good in the sandwich I had so they know what they are doing! Good prices, drinks available, good location, friendly staff and yummy food. Highly recommend.
